What is Morpheus8?

Morpheus8 is a novel technology that lets you discover new depths. It is the first and only body fractional technology for skin resurfacing and subdermal fat remodeling. Appropriate for all skin types, this minimally invasive treatment renews deeper layers of the skin and tissue with little downtime.

How does it work?

MORPHEUS8 is a fractional microneedling device with programmable penetration depth and energy delivery to suit individual patients. This treatment will help improve skin texture and complexion to enhance the skin’s overall appearance. A matrix of 24 gold coated pins penetrate the subdermal tissue, coagulate the fat, and contract the connective tissues. Simultaneously, the RF energy generates heat deep beneath the skin to stimulate collagen production. As healing begins, the skin’s building blocks reorganize themselves in a natural anti-aging process. The skin’s tone, texture, and color is greatly enhanced.

What areas can be treated?

Morpheus8 can be used on any areas that can benefit from sub-dermal renewal. The most commonly treated areas include the face, neck, and decollete’ but any area of the body that exhibits wrinkles, discoloration, acne scarring, or surgical scars can benefit.

How many treatments will I need?

You can expect to have between 1-3 treatments for best results. Typically, visible improvement can be seen in a few days, but the most noticeable results appear at three weeks. Improvements continue for up to three months.

Can Morpheus be used in conjunction with other treatments?

Yes. Morpheus8 can be used in the same session or within several days of other treatments.

What can I expect following treatment?

• Typically, the patient will experience “social redness” for 12 hours- two days although slight redness can occur for up to a week.
• Cooling the skin can reduce any discomfort.
• A healing ointment, or good quality moisturizer should be applied to the skin.
• Sunscreen should be worn daily and direct sun exposure avoided until the skin is healed.
• Makeup may be applied 1-2 days after treatment.
