Morpheus8V

Southeast Sculpting + Rejuvenation

Aesthetic Medical Spa located in Fort Mill, SC

Morpheus 8V can be combined with PRP or Exosomes to enhance the healing process and the female sexual response. By itself, Morpheus 8V is intended to repair and rejuvenate the vaginal tissues through microneedling and radio frequency heating. Once the micro- injuries have been created, the body will begin to heal itself, creating collagen to tighten, strengthen, and “plump up” the tissues. When this process is combined with the addition of PRP or exosomes, the effects of the procedure are enhanced. Sexual Sensation may be heightened or rediscovered.

Morpheus8V Q&A

What is PRP?

It is Platelet Rich Plasma. A vial of blood is drawn from the patient, spun in a centrifuge, and its parts separated. The plasma portion is that portion of the blood that speeds up wound healing to create new skin cells and collagen. The value of the PRP lies in the quality of the blood itself. In other words, the age and health of the patient will affect the number of growth factors found in the PRP.

What are Exosomes?

Exosomes are microvesicals of genetic material derived from donated fat, bone marrow, or placental stem cells They have predetermined, measured genetic material that is not dependent on the quality of the donor. In fact, scientists consider them to be superior to PRP because they are always consistent and have 10-100 times more growth factors than the average PRP. Exosomes are always available and require no blood draw from the patient. When applied after microneedling or by injection, they greatly increase the effects of the procedure.

In short, If Morpheus8V is good, it is better with PRP, and best with the addition of Exosomes.

What can the patient expect?

  • ProNox is available upon request, but oftentimes used for the patient's comfort. Numbing cream is applied inside the vagina, labia , and clitoral area. If PRP or exosomes are used, the physician will also inject the most sensitive areas with a local anesthetic.
  • Microinjuries are created to the vaginal and periclitoral areas with the Morpheus8V.
  • The PRP or exosomes are then applied by swab or injection to the treated areas.
  • The procedure should take 30-40 minutes.

What should the patient expect after the procedure?

  1. Localized sensitivity is expected, but short lived, 1-2 days at most.
  2. Intercourse can be resumed in 4-5 days.
  3. Results will be noted in 2-4 weeks, with significant improvement at three months and continuing for 12-18 months.
